A flash roadshow covering 3 countries in one week has completed successfully leaving both participating partners and travel trade market in a Seychellois spirit.
With high numbers of CEE travellers increasing up to 61% the Seychelles Tourism Board feels the need to increase the number of actions that would bring the trade the necessary destination knowledge. This has also been acknowledged by the travel partners hotels and destination management companies which have joined the delegation: Beachcomber Ste. Ane-Sandra Ober, Denis Private Island and Indian Ocean Lodge- Ravinia Larue, Hilton Seychelles-Maria Eremina, Masons Travel-Gerhard Bartsch, Raffles Praslin Seychelles- Viktoriya Khaydukova,7South- Anne Buttler Payette , locall offices of Emirates Airline have joined and all were led by Seychelles Tourism Board France based Manager Karen Confait and assisted by Access Destination.
Hence the organised roadshow over Budapest, Prague and Warsaw that was clearly appreciated, fact recognised by the successful turn out of the travel professionals. The cities have been choses strategically by the Seychelles Tourism Board France due to their recently established connections with reputed Emirates Airlines. The events have taken place in reputed venues that catered for 50 travel trade members in each city during the evenings of 26th to 29th of May.
The format chosen was ”train and dine” which has been proved the most successful on all markets as it keeps the attendees interested in the information in a friendly environment. For a pleasant end of the event the travel professionals had the chance to taste the local Takamaka rum. Moreover for a grand finally the partners and the Seychelles Tourism Board have come together and offered raffle prize of 8 nights of accommodation, transfers and all necessary arrangements for a full experience of the Seychelles Islands.
Due to its success and demand from both the Seychelles partners and the local travel trade further activities will be planned for the rest of the year bringing Seychelles into the spotlight.
